Big Sister
I like to sit and knit while my daughter plays piano. So when she started to practice today, I cast on a sock. I love knitting to my own private concert. It's like my knitting theme song.

The greatest! Music is life...and much more!
love that!
Wow -- knitting and double point needles too? I am impressed.
I love a good concert to get those needles clicking.
Sandy
do you play piano?
Lou,
Not really. I took about two years of piano about four years ago just because it was something I always wanted to do. My teacher went back to school to get her teaching degree and didn't have time to teach anymore so I just stopped. My daughter has by far passed me and is quite talented at it. It does help to know enough about piano to help her if she needs it.
keep practicing or it will go away! And what's the yarn for the new socks? Pretty color.
Lou,
I know, I think I have already lost some of it. The sock yarn is Knit Picks Felici in the Mixed Berry colorway. I love it!
Thanks for your comments on my blog. Your kids look so sweet sitting together!
I just arrived on your blog from Belgium. It's beautiful. I espescially love the photo of the quilt in your head banner. Is this a quilt you made? Love it very much. Greetings from Belgium, Guute
Thanks Guute for your kind words! Yes that is a block I made from a block of the month I did last year. It was fun to try folded flowers. That quilt is still unfinished. Another UFO that needs attention!
Oh, for CUTE!!! Aren't kids just such fun!!!?
