Back to School!

Well, I am back from my trip and I had a great time! Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I am having fun reading all of your comments from my Birthday Giveaway and will be picking two winners as soon as I can catch my breath.

Today was the kids' first day back to school.

I was a little sad, but I am excited about all that I will accomplish while they are spending their days learning and having fun.


I am looking forward to sharing pictures from the quilt show, we had such a good time. I had to borrow a suitcase from my parents to get all my fabric purchases and birthday gifts home! I can't wait to show you what I got. I have a lot of knitting and quilting I want to do as the weather turns colder and we welcome Fall. It is going to be lots of fun!!

Oh that first day of school. Dontcha love the new back pack and all of it. Mine have been back for more than a week.

Bittersweet - school is starting, summer is ending - hmmmm, it is so nice to get that routine back though:) Borrowing a suitcase for so many goodies and gifts - I love that!

I hope my niece and nephew have a wonderful school year. They are smart and cute to boot!
