Christmas Gifts

I finished a few Christmas presents. Have you seen these great hot pads? They are really cute, shaped like a heart, and have two little pockets to slip your hand into.

Here are the different ones I made, showing both sides of the set. And I made a matching washcloth to go with each set.

So often I make things for other people and don't ever make them for myself. So I bought enough supplies to make two of each set so that I could keep some for myself. I made mine at the same time so that it wouldn't end up being another project that I never get to.

Only one week until Christmas!

Oh Trisha they are really cute and so much more functional than an oven mitt. Love them. And your work is fabulous.

You are so talented. I wish you lived by me so you could teach me all this fun stuff. I have made 1 1/2 quilts and I like it, I just don't have time and money for that hobby. Someday....

I love that squiggly outline on that bee/flower quilt.

OH MY GOSH! What a talented person you are! I have spent the last hour looking at your blog. I can't believe the details and beauty of the things that you have made. I am way impressed! Holy cow! I love the quilt your friend made about your summer with the writing on the outside edge. Both of my grandma's are quilters and sad to say that I don't even know if I'd know where to start - I actually have quilted before and I have tied each of my kids blankets - but nothing in comparison to what you have done, I am amazed! Ok, need I go on.....I am just super impressed and proud of you! I will check your blog often! Love ya, Lisa
