I absolutely love my design wall and can’t believe I did without one for so long. As you know I don’t have a sewing room and I sew at the dining room table AND my house is on the market so I need to be able to do a quick clean up. This design wall retracts up under the shelf even with all my blocks still on it! Awesome!
So today my design wall looks like this…
This is a sample for my friend, Barb owner of The Quilted B. Isn’t is so cute! The fabric is Lakehouse Penelope. Just wait until I get the borders on, quilt it, and bind it. It is going to be gorgeous! I can’t wait!

You need to give up some details! Did you make it? How?
DO TELL!
Yes, tell us how. We wait eagerly in anticipation. (Me jumping up and down in excitement.)
This is great! It's so hard to keep a house "show ready" and quilt too!
So cute! Congrats on squeezing in some sewing even with all that is going on!
I had not seen this design wall and want to say thanks for posting about it. We are getting ready to move also and this is what I will be putting up next. Thanks from Judy C
Thanks for showing your design wall. I got one for Christmas (thanks hubby!) but haven't got it up yet(had hoped to move sewing room to youngest daughter's room but she has moved back home after college graduation-making rumblings about moving out but ya can't beat free rent!
Yes, I loved it. Very nice design. Very original. Very good fabrics too.
OK. How does the wall retract???? :D :D
Love it!! Can't wait until the next post!
Very cute Trisha!
I keep coming back to that idea in my head. I sure would love a design wall that retracted. It is ideal under your circumstances.
